National Tyre Wholesalers (NTW) has had a long standing relationship with Federal Tyres since first importing the Taiwanese company’s tyres to Australia in the 1980’s. Recently NTW and fellow distributors Cotton Tyre Service along with some of Australia’s leading Federal Tyres dealers took a trip to Taiwan to meet with the Federal team at the company headquarters and see the manufacturing facilities where the tyres are made.

    The visiting customers were guided though the factory by some of Federal’s professional staff and were shown in detail the steps it takes to make a tyre, while in the facility they were invited to learn more about the stratified mechanized systems employed to perform various tasks associated in the process of constructing a tyre. “Being able to see the different sections behind the scenes from start to finish makes me more confident in what Federal has to offer us when it comes to the quality and value of the products produced by this premium tyre brand” explains Gary Cornish from Monaro Discount Tyre Service, Cooma NSW.

    To compliment the special occasion, Jamie Ma, CEO of Federal Corp. took the time to meet with each and every Australian visitor as well as showing them his Ferrari F430 sports car fitted with Federal 595RPM asymmetric ultra-high-performance tyres.

The lucky visitors were treated to Mr Ma demonstrating the impressive performance of both the car and the 595RPM tyres through some of Taiwan’s most demanding roads!

    “Federal always has something new up its sleeve” said Geoffrey Chang, Manager of Federal Marketing, during a briefing on new products including an overview of the flagship AZ-01 asymmetrical touring tyre along with the new all-season touring XUV.

    By the end of the tour it was clear that our Australian distribution partners found it to be a unique and interesting experience, we are certain that they will take home with them new knowledge and confidence knowing that Federal Tyres has a strong commitment to manufacturing high quality tyres for Australian conditions as well as world-wide.
